Evolution of Re-FAB-u-lous!

Along with Re-Fabbing Cool Home Goods and Furniture, this blog is an evolving plan to simplify my life! Re-FAB-u-lous Alley was once just a name for my store. It is now evolving as a way to make my life Re-FAB-u-lous! I have decided that as many of us have started to re-evaluate and simplify the things in our lives, I needed to make Re-FAB-u-lous a WAY of LIFE - Literally!

My awesome family needs me to become Refabulous again! This Blog will become my way of doing that. First of all, I will learn how to blog. Hopefully, in doing this I will help myself, help others, have others help me, and have others help others. My goal is to make this a very positive, interactive blog where we can become fabulously RE-FAB-U-LOUS together! Stay Tuned.

Lake Michigan is FABULOUS!

A Picture of Lake Michigan.  I love it and it makes me feel good to look at it! I love to remember the great time we had with our Family and Great Friends when this picture was taken!  If you haven't been to Lake Michigan, you need to see it someday!! Wherever you live in this world, Lake Michigan is one of the most magical and amazing places to visit!

I will probably post this picture many times over the life of this blog, just because I like it!

Vintage Lamp

OK, let's keep it simple, and start slow. Here is an awesome piece I got at a sale from Cari.  (If you watch HGTV, and if you are from Michigan, you know who Cari is!)  It is a beautiful Vintage lamp - it weighs
9 lbs. - it is AWESOME!  My very handy and cool husband has already re-wired it to make it safe, now I just need to find the perfect shade to make it COMPLETELY RE-FAB-U-LOUS!  Then I will decide if I am keeping it or putting in my store for sale.  I have seen reproductions of this lamp, but honestly, I have never found a real, vintage, heavy lamp like this one.  I may not be able to part with it, but I will let you see it when I find the perfect shade.  If you know me, you know this could take a week or a year.  I will keep you posted.
