Defining Re-FAB-u-lous

Dictionary.com DEFINES FABULOUS as follows:

fab·u·lous

adjective

1. almost impossible to believe; incredible.
2. Informal. exceptionally good or unusual; marvelous; superb: a fabulous bargain;

There is not a definition for "Re-FAB-u-lous" YET, but here is my attempt to give it a formal definition:

re.FAB·u·lous

"amazing" adjective

1. New, Improved, better than ever, brought back to life
2. re-newed, re-vamped

I know that the above definition describes many things that I want for my own life, so follow along, and let's do this together! I hope I can help, even one person, feel better in their life journey!  Those of you who know me, know that I am a very private person, as a matter of fact, one of my closest and longest friends described me as "close to the vest", just this past weekend, so for me to post this blog is a huge deal.  This is how strongly I feel about becoming Re-FAB-u-lous at this stage of my life.

I may revise this definition as we go along.  It is a work in progress.

Well, I have decided to get my life Re-FAB-u-lous!  I have made the commitment to get myself and my house in order.  This has nothing to do with my family-my family is fine, they are happy, healthy and well-adjusted.  It is me that needs an overhaul.  I may post things once in awhile about the family, but as I mentioned above, I am somewhat private about that area of my life.  My husband is pretty handy, though, and helps me a lot if I need something built, so I may post some of the cool barn wood items that he makes for me.  I am not a professional blogger, I am a woman of a "certain" age who wants to feel good, look good, have my house look good with things that I have re-created on my own. (I have always been old-fashioned in that, in that, I don not believe in telling your age)  Hopefully, when I am done with the re-fabulous project, age won't matter anyway.  Let's do this together.  If you have any Re-FAB-u-lous stories, furniture, or whatever it may be, share them, we can learn from each other.  I will post various lifestyle things here.  The first one will be this awesome pedestal table that I bought at an estate sale a few years ago.  Pics to come.
